Ka-Lai

Dutch designer who graduated in Industrial Design at the Utrecht Academy of the Arts . After graduating she started her own design studio, specializing in interior products. Because of her origin she is able to mix cultures, materials and shapes creating a unique signature style. Her shapes are often organic, patterned and continuous. These patterns can be easily identified in the lamps with which she is working with Scicche. That’s what she says about her works: "Through my creations I want to uncover the hidden value of ordinary objects and material, letting people look at the beauty of things and experience them in a different way, which they normally wouldn't have noticed.".
